sTUDENT TRAVEL
Hola / bonjour, students and parents!
Getting outside of the classroom, delving into a Francophone, Hispanic, or any other culture is one of the best ways to enrich one's education. From time to time, I plan summer trips to foreign locals for the students. In my 20 years of teaching high school, I have traveled with students (2003 - present, across multiple tours) to France (Paris, Normany, Bordeaux, west coast), Spain (Madrid, San Sebastian, Seville), England (London, Windsor), Italy (Florence, Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Isle of Capri), Germany (Aachen, Koln, Trier), Luxembourg, and Greece (Peloponnese Islands and Athens). Recent tours include: In the summer of June of 2019, I lead a student tour to Spain and France. The cities and places that we visited were: Madrid, Zaragoza, Segovia, Barcelona, Paris, Normandy, Honfleur, Rouen, Bayeux, D-Day Beaches, & Mont Saint Michel. It was an amazing tour! In the summer of 2022, I lead a tour to Spain, France, and Gibraltar. We visited Paris, Provence (South of France), Barcelona, Andalusia (south Spain) and British Gibraltar. It was an incredible voyage. This past summer, 2024, I lead a group of SHS students to Canada. We traveled to Montreal, Quebec City, Tadoussac on the Saguenay Fjord, Ottawa, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. And I excited to announce, that I currently planning a trip back to Europe for June of 2026. Stay tuned for more information.
